Stylish designer knitting kit for long scarf with fringes, the kit from Danish designer Hanne Falkenberg is knitted in garter & slip stitch.

Size: Full length without fringes approx 190cm / 75 inches and 27cm / 11 inches 

Yarn used: 100% wool Shetland 2ply yarn (knits as 4ply)

The scarf is worked length wise in two parts - casting on and casting off at the sides. Two parts are joined at the centre back. The fringes are created by cutting the yarn at the beginning of each right side row and leaving the lengths of the yarn hanging until work is finished. The lengths are finally tied into knots along each end of the scarf.

The pattern also gives instructions for a version without fringes, with only a garter stitch border at each end
